Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MemberFix (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our websites (https://memberfix.rocks and https://account.memberfix.rocks), purchase our products, or engage our services (collectively, the “Services”). It also explains the choices you have about your information, including how to control cookies and tracking.
This Policy supplements and expands on Section 6 (Data Collection and Privacy) of our Terms and Conditions. Where the two documents differ on a privacy matter, this Privacy Policy controls.
1. Who We Are
MemberFix provides WordPress plugins, ongoing WordPress support (“Care Plans”), hourly development work, and done-for-you membership site builds. For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), MemberFix is the “data controller” for personal information described in this Policy. Our governing jurisdiction is the State of Wyoming, USA.
If you have any questions about this Policy or your personal information, contact us at [email protected] or [email protected].
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide to Us
- Name and email address
- Account credentials for account.memberfix.rocks
- Billing and payment details you submit at checkout (payment card data is processed by our payment providers, not stored by us)
- Information you share when we deliver Services, including access credentials to your website and third-party tools, and any customer data those systems contain
- Anything you send us by email, contact form, or within our project management system (ClickUp)
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our websites, we and our analytics and advertising providers may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Device, browser, and operating system information
- Pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, referring pages, and time spent on the site
- Session recordings that capture on-page interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and navigation (text you type into form fields is masked and not recorded)
- Cookies and similar identifiers, as described in Section 3
For logged-in members on account.memberfix.rocks, we associate analytics activity with your account and may attach related attributes such as your email, display name, membership status, and order history, so we can understand and improve the member experience.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember your preferences, measure how the site is used, and (on memberfix.rocks) support advertising. We group them into the following categories:
- Functional cookies are necessary for the website and your account to work. These are always active.
- Statistics cookies power our product analytics (PostHog) so we can see how the site is used and improve it.
- Marketing cookies power advertising and conversion measurement through the Meta (Facebook) and Google pixels on memberfix.rocks.
We manage consent using a cookie banner (Complianz). If you are visiting from the EU or UK, statistics and marketing technologies are blocked until you accept them, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in our footer. Visitors from other regions are opted in by default and may opt out through the same settings. Consent is shared across memberfix.rocks and account.memberfix.rocks so you only need to set it once.
4. Analytics: PostHog
We use PostHog for product analytics and session replay on both websites. PostHog helps us understand which pages and features people use, where they run into friction, and how to improve the experience. PostHog data is hosted in the United States.
- PostHog is loaded through a first-party endpoint on our own domain (memberfix.rocks/ph), so its requests are served under our domain rather than a third-party host.
- Session replays mask all text input, so passwords, payment details, and other data you type are not captured.
- For EU and UK visitors, PostHog only loads after you grant “statistics” consent. If you decline, PostHog does not run.
5. Advertising and Conversion Pixels
On memberfix.rocks we use the Meta (Facebook) pixel and Google tags to measure the performance of our advertising and to reach relevant audiences. These are managed through PixelYourSite and are treated as “marketing” technologies.
- For EU and UK visitors, these pixels only load after you grant “marketing” consent.
- Meta and Google may act as independent controllers of the data collected through their pixels. You can review their practices in the Meta Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
6. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve our Services
- Communicate with you about your projects, purchases, and support requests
- Process payments and manage your account, licenses, and subscriptions
- Understand how our websites are used and make them better
- Measure and improve our marketing (where you have consented)
- Meet our contractual, legal, and accounting obligations
7. Legal Bases for Processing (EU and UK Visitors)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent, for statistics and marketing cookies and related tracking. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Performance of a contract, to deliver the Services you purchase and manage your account.
- Legitimate interests, to secure our websites, respond to enquiries, and operate our business, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation, to comply with tax, accounting, and other applicable laws.
8. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only as needed to deliver the Services. These providers include:
- PostHog (product analytics and session replay)
- Meta and Google (advertising and conversion measurement on memberfix.rocks, where you have consented)
- Payment providers that process your transactions
- ClickUp (project management and communication) and Airtable (internal records)
- Our web hosting and infrastructure providers
Note that where you consent to marketing cookies, the resulting sharing with Meta and Google for advertising may be considered a “sale” or “share” of personal information under some US state privacy laws. You control this through the cookie settings described in Section 3. We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of MemberFix, our customers, or others. We observe confidentiality in all professional interactions and offer non-disclosure agreements on request.
9. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States and use service providers, including PostHog, that store and process data in the United States. If you access our Services from the EU, UK, or elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Data Retention
We retain your data, including email communications and project information held in ClickUp, Airtable, and our WordPress databases, for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and facilitate future engagements. Analytics data is retained according to our providers' standard retention periods. You may request deletion of your data as described in Section 11, and we will honor it subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent to cookies and tracking at any time
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Request a portable copy of information you provided to us
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. EU and UK visitors also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
12. Managing Cookies and Withdrawing Consent
You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the cookie settings link in our website footer. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some functional cookies are required for the site and your account to work.
13. Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended for business customers and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Third-Party Links
Our websites may link to third-party sites and tools we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will update the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Policy.
16. Contact Us
If you have questions or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your personal information, contact us at [email protected] or [email protected].
