Overview
Introduction
As of this writing, the Divi Builder has 46 modules.
But none of them allows you to generate a list of posts that pull from a specific category, and to then be able to style that list like you would any other Divi module.
One of our MemberFix customers needed to be able to do exactly that within the course pages of her membership site.
Since Divi doesn't have a module for that, we built one. 🙂
We kept it simple and called it the Divi List Category Posts module.

ToggleHow does the Divi List Category Posts Module work?
We built this Divi add-on as a standard WordPress plugin.
Just install it and activate it and the module will now appear whenever you use the Divi Builder.
Here's a short video explanation that shows how to install and use this plugin.
1 – Install and activate the plugin.
2 – After you install the plugin, whenever you edit a page with the Divi Visual Builder, you will be able to see a new module called “MF Category Posts” next to the other existing Divi modules:
3 – Just click on the module to add it to the page.
4 – On the options pop-up you can add a title on top of the posts links and you are able to see a list with all posts categories.
5 – Just select a category or multiple categories and all posts related will appear on the screen.
6 – To change the color of the text just go to Design tab > Text:
You can also change the size of the text.
7 – If you want the size of the posts links to be different than the size of the title, just click on the link icon and you can change the text size:
In the same way you can change font, color etc., just like for any other Divi module.
How to install and use the Divi List Category Posts plugin
1 – Install the plugin by uploading the mf-divi-module-list-category-posts.zip file in WordPress => Plugins => Add New.
2 – Activate the plugin.
3 – At this point when you will use Divi Builder to add different modules when you build your pages, you will be able to drag and drop also the “MF Category Posts” module.
Why did we develop the Divi Module List Category Posts plugin?
As I said above, one of our customers needed such a plugin with this functionality for his WordPress website.
So we went ahead and developed this plugin for him.
And now you get to use it too! 🙂
Will you provide support for this plugin?
Absolutely!
If you have any questions or issues please come back to this post and leave a comment describing them (you can also upload screenshots in the comments).
We will also provide email support at support@memberfix.freshdesk.com but using comments instead, everybody benefits from the conversation and explanations, including existing and potential customers. 🙂
