Vic,

I'm convinced Digital Access Pass can handle my membership needs fine. What I'm not convinced yet that it can do is handle my affiliate tracking well.

There are two things in particular I haven't been able to figure out - and I'm wondering if you could shed some light?

1) I want to make sure that affiliates can login to access statistics on how well their campaigns have done. I will opting people into lists using get response. When the affiliate logs in to the affiliate area, I'd like them to see a summary of their stats: how many clicks their affiliate link has, how many opt ins to the get response list, how many sales. Is this possible? If so, how? It sounded like this would have to be configured when I asked DAP development.

2) I would like to be tracking ad campaigns effectiveness with different sid codes on the end of affiliate links. And I'd love to offer this same functionality to affiliates. If you can do this with DAP, how?

3) How do you find DAP handles affiliate tracking? Is it reliable enough? Any problems with big affiliate partners not liking it? What do your clients think?

Thanks much!

Hi @rwestie,

1. "I want to make sure that affiliates can login to access statistics on how well their campaigns have done. I will opting people into lists using get response. When the affiliate logs in to the affiliate area, I’d like them to see a summary of their stats: how many clicks their affiliate link has, how many opt ins to the get response list, how many sales. Is this possible? If so, how? It sounded like this would have to be configured when I asked DAP development."

It's possible to see how many clicks they've had, how many leads they've generated (if you're using a leads-based commission structure), how many sales they've referred, and how much they've earned.

It will also show which URLs are referring the clicks.

You'd have to find another way to display MailChimp optins.

2. "I would like to be tracking ad campaigns effectiveness with different sid codes on the end of affiliate links. And I’d love to offer this same functionality to affiliates. If you can do this with DAP, how?

Not currently possible with DAP.

DAP shows you which URLs people are coming from when they click an affiliate link.

And it show sales.

But it doesn't show which clicks generate which sales.

3. "How do you find DAP handles affiliate tracking? Is it reliable enough? Any problems with big affiliate partners not liking it? What do your clients think?"

DAP tracks well.

I haven't had any issues and neither have my clients.

Affiliates seem to be split in two groups:

Those who refuse to promote for an in-house affiliate program and those who refuse to promote with a 3rd party like ClickBank.

The deciding factor seems to be less about the actual platform but more about the relationship you have with your JV/affiliate. sf smile - Forum
